My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Wow what can I say, I was so excited to get my hands on a copy of this book. The fabulous cover and book description totally sold it to me. how could it not?! I read it in a day I couldn’t tear myself away It is an absolutely brilliant debut novel. All you crime fans are going to love it From the very first page The Girl On The Ice grabs you by the throat and does not let you go

The book starts off with a very tense and dramatic prologue which left me wanting more. Then the author takes you on a rollercoaster journey where a young boy discovers a body of a woman beneath a thick sheet of ice in a South London park, Detective Erika Foster is called in to lead the murder investigation. The characters in this story are very believable and you can relate to them. Erika she is a very headstrong character having personal problems after losing her husband she is very dedicated to her job. I also feel there is more to come from Moss who made me laugh and I can not wait to see their characters develop in The Night Stalker.

This is one hell of an action packed book. I love how Robert has wrote this, dropping little pieces to the puzzle building up to a massive climax at the end. And what at ending it is to!! I have to admit I was on tenterhooks. This book had me guessing all the way to the end who the killer is. I can't tell you enough how fantastic this book is. It will definitely be in my best books for 2016.

So if you're looking for a corker of a read that is fast paced and full of suspense this is the book for you. I highly recommend it and I am giving it a massive 5 plus stars.
