Chosen Child by Linda Huber #BookReview

Chosen Child by Linda Huber
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

First of all I have to say….the cover! How stunning is it! After seeing the cover that has buy me written all over it I couldn't wait to read this book. After it ending up sitting on my TBR pile for far too long and I actually wish I had read it sooner this is without a doubt an OMG book. I couldn't read it fast enough it grabs you right from the start. Without a doubt it is unputdownable….I freaking loved it.

In this story we meet Ella who longs for a child of her own, but a gruesome find during an adoption process deepens the cracks in her marriage. Her husband Rick has a secret, but Ella doesn’t want to know…
Across town, Amanda is expecting her second child when her husband vanishes. The search begins, but nothing prepares Amanda for the shocking conclusion to the police investigation.

This is one of those books that I have so much to tell you but I don't want to spoil the plot. But I will say I hated Amanda to start with but has the story develops I couldn't help but feel sorry for her. You will see for yourself what I mean when you read it.

I loved that it is set in Cornwall, it is a place that I know well from my visits on summer holidays. The author's descriptions took me right back there. But while reading Chosen Child I couldn't help but think was sitting on the beach enjoying myself on holiday with my children. While a crime is going on around me! Sounds mad but it's true…. I might never see Cornwall in the same light again LOL

This is full of twists and turns that I never saw coming I was literally on the edge of my sit with anticipation dying to know what was going to happen next.

If you're looking for a book that is gripping and full of suspense then this is the book for you. It is a must read which I highly recommend giving it 5 massive stars.

Thank you to the author for a copy in exchange for an honest review
