If the Night Stalker is watching, you’re already dead…
In the dead of a swelteringly hot summer’s night, Detective Erika Foster is called to a murder scene. The victim, a doctor, is found suffocated in bed. His wrists are bound and his eyes bulging through a clear plastic bag tied tight over his head.
A few days later, another victim is found dead, in exactly the same circumstances. As Erika and her team start digging deeper, they discover a calculated serial killer – stalking their victims before choosing the right moment to strike.
The victims are all single men, with very private lives. Why are their pasts shrouded in secrecy? And what links them to the killer?
As a heat wave descends upon London, Erika will do everything to stop the Night Stalker before the body count rises, even if it means risking her job. But the victims might not be the only ones being watched… Erika’s own life could be on the line.
The global bestselling author of The Girl in the Ice is back with a heart-racing, electrifying thriller.

MY THOUGHTS

The moment when you know you will love a book from the opening scene, well this is one of those books. This book grabbed me from the opening page. I simply couldn't put it down just when I thought Robert Bryndza debt novel was absolutely brilliant, this series just got a whole lot better. With another fantastic cover and brilliant story what more could a crime book fan ask for!

The Night Stalker starts off one hell of an atmospheric start the author totally sets the scene drawing me in, where we are introduced to the shadow watching a man. Then we fast forward four days and a body is found suffocated in bed. His wrists are bound and his eyes bulging through a clear plastic bag tied tight over his head So Detective Erika Foster is called to a murder scene. Then a few days later another victim is found. The hunt is on for Erika and her team to find the killer before a body count rises.

In this story we get to know Erika more with scenes from her past which are woven in with this mind blowing story. I love this series and love Erika she is one hell of a strong character there is nothing not to like about her.

Once again Robert as wrote this dropping little pieces of the puzzle building up to a climax, keeping me guessing from start to end with some added surprises along the way that I wasn't expecting. The Author certainly knows how to keep the reader's attention with this face paced, page turner! I couldn't read it fast enough but I also didn't want it to end, with descriptions that will turn your stomach and have you on the edge of the seat.

The Night Stalker can easily be read as a standalone although this is a series to good not to be missed.

The story is absolutely mind blowing, If you're looking for something you can get your teeth into this is the book for you which I highly recommend giving it an easy 5 stars.
