Seven Bridges by LJ Ross #Review
Seven Bridges by LJ Ross
My rating: 4.5 of 5 stars
I am a massive fan of DCI Ryan and have been patiently waiting for this eighth book, after the last one left us wanting more. Has always LJ Ross doesn't disappoint with this belter of a story and brings us another exciting mystery.
In Seven Bridges we catch up with Ryan and his team where they are coming to terms with events from the previous story.... Having said this you can read this has a standalone.
The story starts of one hell of and opening where I found myself hooked and racing to the end to find out what was going to happen.
We follow the story of a case where DCI Ryan receives a bomb threat message. The clock is ticking and its a race against time to solve the mystery of the bomber before every bridge is burned, along with everybody on it... sounds exciting doesn't it?! Well I can tell you that it certainly is.
Compared to the previous seven books, I felt like this was nothing like her other books with less description of the scenery/setting. (which I actually missed) It's has if the author has had stepped outside her comfort zone, and stepped up her game with the crime thriller side of the story and wrote an action packed, gripping, page turner.
Fans old and new will not be disappointed I highly recommend it giving it 4.5 stars
