My Thoughts
OMG it's Tom Bale who has totally pulled the hat out of the bag with this stonking read! Right from the start I was like wow I'm Impressed now that I have finished it I am even more impressed and thinking OMG where the hell did that come from....Let me explain what I mean..
Just in case you didn't already know I am a massive fan of Tom's books and this story is like no other of his that I have read. Tom has left no room for improvement this story starts off off with an OMG moment, seriously there is no building up the tension. Talk about action packed from the start. Imagine driving home and a car cuts you up causing you to crash.....BOOM what a pulse racing start. Which leaves you wanting more.
This Isn't what I was expecting at all I couldn't read this fast enough and before I knew it I had devoured it...There is no starter with this story it is straight in for the main course that's for sure
Like all of Tom's book he takes a journey and makes you question what would you do in that situation. You can actually feel the tension and there are moments where I found myself shaking my head saying NO....I love it when a story has this effect on me.
One Dark Night is a fast pacing very entertaining read that will keep you on the edge of your edge. With plenty of twists and turns that you wont see coming. This is without a doubt the author's best book to date and is definitely worth the wait. This story is absolutely mind blowing, it would make a seriously wicked film.
What more can I say but I loved everything about it. I cannot recommend it enough giving all the stars.
