The Date by Louise Jensen #BlogTour #Review

I am super excited  to share my 5 star review for The Date by Louise Jensen on Blog Tour today

The Book

One night can change everything.

‘I know it as soon as I wake up and open my eyes... Something is wrong.’

Her Saturday night started normally. Recently separated from her husband, Ali has been persuaded by her friends to go on a date with a new man. She is ready, she is nervous, she is excited. She is about to take a step into her new future. By Sunday morning, Ali’s life is unrecognisable. She wakes, and she knows that something is wrong. She is home, she is alone, she is hurt and she has no memory of what happened to her.

Worse still, when she looks in the mirror, Ali doesn’t recognise the face staring back at her...

From the no. 1 bestselling author of The SisterThe Gift and The SurrogateThe Date is a gripping page-turner that will keep you awake until the early hours. Perfect for fans of The Girl on the Train and Before I Go To Sleep.

My Thoughts

OMG you know when a story is good when you forget to breath!

Louise Jensen fans are in for a treat with this cracking read. I always look forward to the authors latest read with her being one of my favourite authors I cannot begin to tell you what a talented writer she is. And once again excelled herself and weaved a story that will blow you away.

Imagine waking up knowing something is wrong  but having no memory of what happened to you and a date?! well this is what happens to Ali. I don't think I will ever go on a date again after reading this LOL

I have to say that not only do I love the title of this book, but wowsers what a cover. Like most of the books that I read if I am a fan of the author I don't read the blurb. Louise doesn't disappoint every book she writes simply gets better. This is without a doubt her best yet.

. Louise paints a masterpiece with her stunning writing skills. Taking you on a whirlwind of emotions.Just when I thought I had it all worked out BOOM there is another twist thrown in. The Date has more twists and turns than a roller coaster you wont be able to put it down.

There is nothing not to like about this book and it ticked all the boxes for me so If you are looking for an unputdownable read then this is the book for you which I highly recommend giving it 5 well deserved stars
