I must admit I brought this book due to the fact that I was drawn in by the stunning cover which has buy me written all over it. So to be totally honest I had no idea what this story was about when I started reading it. And it is also the first book that I have read by Netta Newbound and certainly wont be my last. The author has pulled out all the punches with this story.

Imagine your child has a rare and fatal illness, Would you choose to save your child if it meant someone else had to die?

Well Victoria and Jonathan seem to have the perfect marriage and beautiful daughter Emily until one day they find out she has a rare and factual illness. Medical trials show that a temporary fix would be to transplant a hormone from a living donor. Heartbreaking for them they are forced to accept the fact their daughter is going to die. But Jonathan is suddenly killed in a farming accident and Victoria turns to her sick father-in-law, Frank, for help. Then a series of events present Victoria and Frank with a situation that, although illegal, could save Emily.

What can I say but OMFG what a nail biting story!! Seriously I am still hyperventilating.

After The first couple of chapters this story takes a turn I just didn't see coming and it doesn't stop there either. Honestly I have a lump in my throat just thinking about what an affect this story had on me. One minute I am feeling sorry for Victoria then the next I am like OMG what are you doing! Taking me through a whirlwind of emotions. I couldn't read this book fast enough. This one hell of a compelling page turner that's for sure.


This book certainly isn't for the fainthearted with scenes that will make your toes curls. The shock value of this story is at its greatest and full of twists and turns like I've never read before. The author writes about Sensitive subjects, that some people will find disturbing, but for me this is where my heart was in my throat!!

This story is so tense I found myself on the edge of my sit while my stomach was doing somersaults. And forgetting to breath while reading. Netta what have you done to me?!.....LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!

An Impossible Dilemma is one of those books that will stay with me forever making this one of my top reads for 2017.

This is a must read for Fans of Dark and twisted Psychological Thrillers.Which I cannot recommend it enough giving it 5 massive gold stars.
