Scales Of Justice David Moon

Scales of JusticeScales of Justice by David B. Moon
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I was lucky enough to be given a copy of this book by the author for an honest review.

Firstly i have to say i have never read this author before and i absolutely loved it. I was literally on the edge of my seat from the start to finish and i read this in one afternoon. this is a very fast paced easy read crime mystery thriller. With lots of twists and turns that keep you guessing who the Maytag Reaperman is. This book isn't for the faint hearted there is lots of gruesome and gory murders in it. which i loved this book was definitely right up my street, with likeable believable well described characters.

This book starts off in 1981 then moves to 2015. Then just over half way through the book the story flicks back and forth between to years giving an insight into Reapermans childhood. I especially liked the calender dates for the chapters this made it easy to follow.

My only negative thing i have to say about Scales Of Justice is the cover. I would never have picked this book up to read thinking it is a crime mystery thriller. The cover does not do the book any justice and looks like a horror book cover. But never the less that just shows you shouldn't judge a book by its cover.

I highly recommend this and i am giving it 5 stars, i look forward to reading more or this series and author.

Finally and big thank you to David Moon for a copy....keep up the good work.

  1. Another I haven't read or indeed heard of until I read your review. Not too sure I would like the jumps in timeline but worth a wee nosey.
